I need a strap to dres down a Stowa Antea KS

My Antea KS is spending its days in the display case, although I really want to give it more wrist time the strap it came with (black leather) doesn't work with my daily clothes (suede boots, jeans, polo)

So I'm thinking about dressing it down, but can't decide on how. What do you suggest? A light brown suede strap that match my shoes maybe? Textile/Canvas strap to give it a more sportier look? Your inputs a much appreciated, please help me give the watch more wrist time it deserves.

Honey to chocolate brown leather strap with white accent stitching would be a nice look and could double for a dress or sport look as needed.

A nylon or Nato strap on this watch will not look good, IMHO.

A shell cordovan strap has a very utilitarian look that would work to make the watch more versatile with casual clothing; you could see it on a tool watch. If black, it still looks good in dressy environs. I think this is one reason why Nomos chooses this strap. I would look there if I were you.

I made a strap for an Antea once from vintage orange-brown ammo leather, and the combo actually worked out quite nicely.

What do you think about perlon strap?

I make a few styles that may fit the bill. I have a blue thread that would pair up nicely with your Antea KS.

I have seen some nice pics of bauhaus-style watches on canvas/nylon regimental zulu straps. I like the look: summering at the beach house. A simple leather strap might fit better with your suede boots, jeans, and polo look, IMO.

Here are some examples of "dressed down" anteas.

A button stud strap should dress it down nicely

I made a brown leather 3-rings ZULU and to my surprise, it looks ok, I'll post a picture tomorrow, it's already too dark here to take a proper picture. I also place an order for a NOS Eulit Panama perlon strap because I really like the look of the Omega with a perlon strap above.

WOW! That certainly looks like something! But how do you adjust these ? Does it have to be made exactly to specifications ? What if the leather stretches ?
