Question Is this an integrated bracelet?

    Hello,

I own this Nautica watch since 2002.
The steel bracelet is not convenient for me any more so I am

wondering if I could change it with a leather strap.

Since I know almost nothing about straps/bracelets installations, I would like to ask if it is possible to remove this bracelet.

    Thank you

    Looks very integrated to me.

There’s a slim chance you might be able to switch it out - a picture of the case back and area where the bracelet meets the case would confirm.

I updated the first post with a second picture showing the back of the watch.

No, I wouldn’t bother. Leave it as is and you have a good reason to buy a new model and just wear that one now and again.

Based on the second picture it looks like that the watch has drilled lug holes. Then you would be able to remove the bracelet. But you would need to have a custom strap made for the watch which would be rather expensive and I doubt it would be that durable because the notch between the lugs is rather small.

I agree with this, and would add that a custom leather strap is probably several times the current value of the watch.

I'd put that money towards a new watch. There are plenty of affordable pre-owned ones for sale here on the forum.
