Question Leather strap to make my Black Halios Tropik SS more dressy?

New to watches, and certainly straps, so suggestions of color, brands and links welcome. My Tropik SS came with a stainless steel bracelet, that is very nice. I would like to think it can stand out even more with a leather strap. Started thinking Black, but suggestions welcome.

I don't think I want to spend more than $50 odd, and would like it to be dressy looking and durable.

    Thanks

Well, IMO, no better place to look at than Halios...

I already had a bracelet, so when I ordered my Tropik, I got it with the L1 strap. A bit rugged, but what a fit!!

If I was looking for something a bit dressier, I'd probably get the L5.

I'm looking at getting an L3 to match the "Tropik" in the dial.

Might also look at Crownandbuckle.com and Panatime.com

I like black with contrast stitch on almost any diver. You can get something like the Hirsch Liberty for the sporty look and straps like the Hirsch Grand Duke or Dimodell Bali Chrono for a slightly dressier look. You can make dark brown work, if you want something other than black, and tan works but is more casual. There are plenty of other brands like Hadley Roma and Rios, and suppliers like c&b and Panatime that have straps with similar looks.

I think this strap adds a nice dressy touch

I don't have it on your watch, but here's a pic on a PAM

Thanks for all the suggestions! Will check out the links.

Have been looking at Panatime and Hadely Roma straps on ebay. The Panatimes start at about $35, and the Hadley Roma's from about $16. The Hirsch (not ebay) seem to be around $75 or so on a quick look. What's the difference in quality? I'm pretty ignorant about leather...

I've been looking at the Hirsch Duke, since I want the watch to look dressy. However not exactly sure I want a crocodile pattern-prefer a plain one. Also would like a brushed steel buckle to match the watch case.

Any other recommendations on a durable, dressy, thick, black leather, plain strap with brushed steel buckle for under $50?

Also this is a style opinion question - will contrasting stitching look less dressy than black stitching?

How durable is the panatime saddle leather strap? I like it's look, so alternative suggestions welcome too.

I'm looking at the following. Can anyone tell me how durable the following are, and any quality opinions on them, in general:

Toscana PANERAI Style Black Italian Leather Strap with Contrasting Stitching #LBV-98230
Toscana PANERAI Style Black Italian Leather Strap with Contrasting Stitching #LBV-98230

Panatime Black Genuine Italian Leather Soft Calf with Match Stitching

Hadley Roma MS2036 Black Genuine Vegetable Tanned Leather with White Stitching
22mm Hadley Roma MS2036 Black Genuine Vegetable Tanned Leather with White Stitching - Made in the USA 120/75 22/22

RIOS1931 for Panatime Black "Moscow" Genuine Russian Leather
22mm RIOS1931 for Panatime Black "Moscow" Genuine Russian Leather 114/82 22/18

or the Hirsch Duke suggested by slcbbrown:
Hirsch DUKE Alligator Embossed Leather Watch Strap in BLACK | HirschStraps

The first seems like a bargain compared to the rest. Is Toscana quality comparable to the Hirsch or Rios or Panatime?

    Thanks!
