Looking for 18mm deployant for 4.25mm thick strap

I'm having a hard time figuring out if there is an 18mm deployant clasp that would accommodate my double-ridged Hirsch shark-pattern strap. It is 4.25mm thick in the area where I would put the clasp (the whole strap gradually increases in thickness, so it depends on what hole you are using). RHD deployant is 4mm, and Fluco is 3.75mm. I have a 20mm Hadley Roma which is, I think, 3.5mm, so 18mm version would likely be even thinner. Rather than randomly buying other clasps, I'm hoping someone would know of a suitable item.

Thanks for the replies. One challenge is getting useful information from various online dealers. Often, thickness of the band is missing from specifications, or different dealers list different information for same clasps. When asked, some just give approximate number, which is not useful when fit is close. As another example, I have Hadley Roma 20mm, which clicks closed on this strap, but puts some pressure on it, so when removing the watch, clasp tends to pop open. This clasp is often advertised as taking 5mm thick straps, but it definitely does not.

I just ordered a Hirsch single fold deployant, just based on the fact that Hirsch Sport Deployment Clasp claims that it takes 4.7mm. We'll see.

Go with a Hadley Roma Deploaynt. They fit thicker straps.

I have Hadley Roma, and while it technically just fits, there is enough pressure from thicker strap that when bracelet is open and watch is being removed from wrist, even the slightest sideways twist of the strap will unlock the clasp that holds long side of the strap. Too risky to use.

I used a Hadley Roma butterfly Deploaynt on my Hirsch Viscount which is 6.8mm thick and I haven't had a problem yet. I bought the same Deploaynt in 18mm for my RGM to replace the RGM deployant that broke twice on me. So far it seems to work great.

Thickness that matters is at buckle end. While Hirsch Viscount is listed online as 6.8mm, that surely isn't at the buckle, but rather the thickest part near lugs.

Re: Looking for 18mm deployant for 4.25mm thick strap

I emailed Hadley Roma before buying one of their butterfly deployants due to the fact I was having a hard time finding a clasp for this strap because of the thickness. I asked her if the buckle would work for my Viscount strap that is 6.8mm thick and she said yes. Hadley Roma and Hirsch are very similar. Hadley is the whole supplier for Hirsch in the U.S. plus some of their straps are the same.
