Re: Looking for feedback on my original deployant clasp design

As someone that buys 100's of buckle and deployments every year, I can say with all certainty that your design, with some refinement, would be something very nice to have. Were you to get some made and wanted some real-world feedback, I'd be happy to jump in and buy a few to test them out.

All that said, it looks like it will be a premium product, and thus priced accordingly. There is not a very large group of people that would pay for something like that, even among those that are into changing out strap and ordering custom ones, etc. Buddy up with a brand on this so that they are proprietary to their watches, and I think there would be a better measure of success. Also, be diligent with your patents - if your design becomes a reality and then has any traction at all in the marketplace, China will; be pumping them out at 10x the rate and 1/3 the price by the end of the week.

    Looking forward to seeing more,

I think it's a great idea,,,,remove your pictures, before someone takes the liberty of using the idea. You will need to patent it, then maybe sell the patent to a large strap/buckle company.

Good advice, and very creative. I purposely wear only deployants when I wear straps and constantly have this issue, you seen to have fixed with your design. Nice job.

I didn't see this thread until OP removed his pictures. What 'issue' has he fixed with his design?

It automatically adjusts for size, in between hole sizes in strap.
