Looking for very specific nato strap

First time poster here!<br><br>As the title suggests I'm looking for a very specific nato strap - the one IWC uses on their Spitfire pilot watch (olive green, reinforced with leather and without the extra fabric so nothing has to be tucked in). Does anyone have an idea where I could get one similar to that? I know I can buy it from IWC directly, but I really don't want to spend 120€ (<img src="https://forums.watchuseek.com/images/smilies/down.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Thumbs Down" smilieid="23" class="inlineimg">)&nbsp;on that strap if there is any similar alternative available!&nbsp;<br><br>Appreciate any help,<br>cheers<br><br>

Do you mean this strap or something else? If that's the one you mean it's not really a nato strap but a 2 piece canvas strap. If you use Google image search for "2 piece canvas watch strap" you can find many alternatives although I'm not sure if there's one which is 100% similar to the one by IWC. If the strap pictured isn't the one you meant then you could provide the model number of the IWC in question.

This one is somewhat similar style although the colour of the leather is different: https://georgesstraps.com/products/v...to-watch-strap
You could try searching "canvas nato strap" to find more.

Rios1931 also has some nice canvas G10/NATOs (though no leather reinforcing of the holes): https://rios1931.com/rios1931-nato-straps/ , as does Haveston: https://www.haveston.com/10-corp-canvas-series .

They are standard G10/NATOs, though, so they do have the extra fabric that needs to be tucked. I bought a couple when they had some in waxed canvas, which seems to have been removed from their lineup (clearly not a big seller).

hm. I'm really not a big fan of the extra fabric. That's the main reason why I like the idea of the IWC one so much. I have super tiny wrists which makes a 40mm watch the absolute upper limit. So I always have a ton of extra fabric left which just makes for a bulky look (even on a bit longer leather straps).

If the strap is nylon (as are many NATO and Zulu straps), your can use a nickel as a guide and cut off the extra fabric you don't need and seal the end with a lighter.
