Well I just found the same thing from Strap Mill Canada for 35 bucks CAD!

I have been looking for these straps for a long time; finally someone decides to make it at an affordable price! I have ordered one and will report back on the quality!

    Re: Marbled Leather Straps

There's a lot of leathers with a 'shrunken grain' appearance though. I believe all of them get it through the process of 'milling'. That said, it's not a particular type of leather so that means the quality likely varies from the cheapest possible chrome-tan leather you can find to the finest Italian veg-tan leather you can find. Hodinkee is way overpriced. That's well documented here, but I'm hesitant to agree that Hodinkee's leather is the same as this vendor you linked to. Looking a little closer at those Strap Mill pics, their leather has kind of a plastic look to it at an angle.

Here's some Italian veg-tanned leather that I've enjoyed using with this same grain patter. I personally like the character these shrunken grain leathers have, though I know there's a lot who don't care for it.

In these straps, different leather is used, it can not be compared. The photos show all the difference.
Hodinkee uses high quality leather. The manufacturing quality of the strap does not match the price of the strap.
Mill uses deshovuyu leather low. The price corresponds to the materials used and the quality of the workmanship.

Calm down guys, lets not poop on my 35 bucks straps before I get my hands on it lol

Plus I am just not the kind of person who'd wear a $200 strap - I rather use that money to buy a Seiko. I really donno who else makes these "shrunken grain" leather for 35 bucks.

@Level.5x I agree! these "shrunken grain" are what captured my eyes; just look so special!

@aprell what is deshovuyu? how do you tell?

Do not worry. As I wrote the strap you bought is worth your money.
Leather is of different quality and different dressings. Also the price depends on who produced leather.
Mill uses leather price of 3-5 $ square foot. Hodinkee uses leather for $ 20 square foot.
