I've been looking for a two tone 17mm bracelet in gold and SS at a decent price (not easy to find since 17mm isn't that common).
Today I came across bracelets with expandable ends such as the 16-22mm bracelets shown below:
I wonder how the first link in either of these chains would look on a 16mm lug and also on a 22mm lug. They can't look right on both, no?
Does anyone have any experience with such bracelets?
The first full link (not the spring loaded link) in the band in your top photo looks to be about 20mm. If the measurement to the outside of the lugs on your watch is less than that, the top link will extend beyond the lugs and look out of place. If the measurement to the outside of the lugs is 20mm or more, it should look OK.
17mm is a tough width. Keep in mind that if you opt for a 16-22 expandable for your 17mm lugs, the spring loaded link won't be flush with the sides of the case.
