    Modern Scissor Expansion watch band

Hello community! Is there anyone out there who can name a manufacturer that currently makes a scissor style expansion watch band? Alot of members despise expansion, but I find the scissor style super comfortable.

Thanks but please no NOS. I'm steering away from those. There are a million of them out there. I want something currently in production.

What size are you looking for.....One is a Speidel "Twist-o-Flex" in 16mm and the other is a scissor type in 15mm, both in gold tone.....

Preferably gold tone. My father gifted me his 1960's Timex "Q" quartz watch this past Christmas. Seems that the vintage scissors are way too short, as I need one at least 6.5" long.

Any reason you're married to the scissor expansion band?

My grandfather always wore his Timex on an expansion band, but it doesn't mean I have to. His expansion band was falling apart, so I mounted the watch on a modern expansion band and it was just plain uncomfortable. Quick swap to Perlon and now it's comfy as can be.

If you're REALLY into keeping the look, but need a longer size, my only thought would be to find two identical ones that you like and that have adjustable links, then swap links from one to another. This might be a long slog of a search, though.

I have the opposite problem. I have a vintage Timex with a scissor type expansion band that is too long. My wrist only measures 6.25 inches. I figured out how to remove the riveted links but it's too much of a bother. I'm just putting a leather strap on the watch.
