Nato straps, what can go wrong?

    Hi wus

I have never owned a nato strap before and like the leather/vintage look
but not sure if they would look good on my wrist/watch.

I have seen sub $10 straps and ones well over $50. Is there typically a difference?

If I buy a cheap one what can go wrong? Can bits break and loose my watch or would they just not last as long looks wise?

Would rather not spend too much if the look doesn't suit me

Most Natos will work, just some are of better quality, thicker, or woven better than others, but they are all basically just nylon which should be more than enough to hold a watch in any normal situation.

    Thanks nokie

I presume same for leather? Cheap will do the job but may look bad quicker...

The same, more or less, it will work too.
Just bear in mind it is better to take off the spring bar first before you put a leather nato on/off.
It may cause damage to your strap if it's pulled through a small space between the spring bar and the case.
You might want to check N80 Leather for good quality leather nato's.
