New Silicone strap with deployment buckle

I've seen a few of these over the last couple years and never tried them. I mostly use bonetto centurini but I wanted something with a deployment clasp. Found this one on special for 18 bucks tax included. You have to adjust it by cutting the strap down and re inserting the spring bars into the next hole until you get the desired fit. I've typically stayed away from silicone due to lint attraction but this one doesn't seem to be effected that much.

Has anyone had any experience with these types, durability etc ?

On my cell phone not sure how to post a link, doesn't seem to work when I do... if you search "silicone deployment clasp strap" there will be a few listings on Amazon.

I love those silicone straps, I have about 5 of my watches on that strap. It’s cheap, comfortable and surprisingly doesn’t really attract that much of lint and dust (it still does though). But don’t expect too much from the buckle/deployant, it’s crap. You can get them cheaper from AliX, around $8-10.

Have you though about swapping a clasp from a bracelet ? Like what I did above.

I did that with my NTH. The watch came with a steel bracelet and the buckle is 18mm that fits perfectly with the strap. Very comfortable and looks OEM.
