Meaning?! I haven't seen a strap with bolts in like this before. But it doesn't mean it don't exist. Besides who are you to come claiming copyright for any spesific design. Like you have all the original ideas/ designs. There are some of us out in the world with some fresh ideas and a bit of creativity.

Have a couple of more design ideas I haven't seen before, I'll just mail the pictures to you for approval first, before publishing on wus.

As I see strap design it's limited by a couple of factors like size, functionality, stitching, etc, a couple of holes. I'mean just 2 bits of leather a buckle an there you go. How many variations can there bee?! You are bound to stumble upon some things theat look like others.

Most of us publishing pictures here (I belive) looks a pictures by other for inspiration, ideas, etc. I used a crappy strap as guidance for my first prototype. Later on i used my MM09's strap. I don't exspect to see a lawsuit soon, because some of my 1st straps have the same curvature end as my mm.

By the way does anyone know who has the design idea for tapered straps? Don't wan't to go there before i've checked it out.

It's like the panerai etc. lookalike thing. Every cushion based desige is a panerai clone/wannabe. Every squre watch is a bell and ross clone/wannabe. And any diver with a red and blu bezel is a rolex clone/wannabe.

Get real man, every design is drawn on previous experiences from the person designing them.

Her are some pics on an idea im working on called blue ribbon. Look closely at the locking mechanism. (pat. pending)

    And a wrist shot

And if you dont get it, it's called irony!!

So please come with some constructive critics!, mr shane "there can be only one" 1000!

And please don't come wining to me!

I believe what Shane is saying as you even named your strap the Hinge, on his website he also named his the same but in French, i saw that on the his web page many months ago, and you have just listed this, so it seems fair to say you got your ideas from him.
    JM2CW on this.

    have a great day gents.

    Definition hinge:
    Noun

S: (n) hinge, flexible joint (a joint that holds two parts together so that one can swing relative to the other).

    source http://www.google.no/url?sa=X&start=...N5FkmLbP0cv0VA

Have some hinges on my doors, boxes, elbows etc. too, the name just came natural. It hinges so I called it "da hinge".

frankenstrap was also mentioned - bolts through neck/head.

Don't speak french by the way.

    Nice day to you too!
