    Nylon Straps

Anyone know of some solid nylon watch straps in black? My brother needs a new strap for his luminox and he is tired of the rubber bands breaking so he wants something quite durable.
    Thanks!

Are you looking for a NATO, Zulu, or RAF style nylon strap?

I you're looking for high quality, mil-spec, RAF straps, take a look at what's offered from Marathon Watches. They are tough as nails and will last for years.

    Another would be ToxicNato.

You might ask this to be shifted to the straps forum, or search that forum.......

BTW: as a sidebar, was he using a standard buckle, or a deployment? My guess would be a buckle. You definitely stress the rubber, and it will tear eventually, where you over-flex it. A deployment should mitigate this. Bonetto Cinturini makes a LOT of rubber straps with deployments. Just an alternative.

Take a look at Eulit Perlon straps, they are simple, not loaded with strange hardware and fit any watch when you order correct lug width.

Always a good fit because they are infinitely adjustable due to no pre punched holes. I love em and have bought three.

    DOH!

    I have a couple, too.

Eulit black perlon looks a lot better than my Maratac black nylon RAF...the nylon is glossy-shiny. I should wash it good a few times, I suppose. The perlon is a flat black...not as black, but that's fine too. Really deep black is kinda uncommon on watches that I've seen.

Crown and Buckle also has a nice line of premium Nato straps.

I've purchased RAF straps from NATO Strap Co. and Tower Time Straps. They've all been great.
