I had a bought a leather purse at the thrift for some material, and it had some neat stitching on a tapered shoulder strap, but I just tossed it aside and forgot about it.
Then thought it would be neat to have a strap built for a deployant, so I set to work! Had the buckle from a broken watch, and fit it to my wrist. (Note, only stitching I did was to secure the springbars.. the vertical stitching was there. ;) )
What do you think?? I'm extremely happy with the results, and it's incredibly soft/comfortable. My only qualm is that it says "GENEVA" on the buckle. Oh well, I can deal until I source a replacement. :)
