Confused oops, measure thrice next time (homemade deploy strap #4)

Made some straps last night, but sadly I miss-measured the hole-to-hole length and ended up with something a bit too short. Shame really, as I really like the texture in this one. The back is sloppy (from the edges) as I'd planned to back it with lamb, but I think I'm done for now. Be a shame to scrap it...

How short is it? Would it fit someone like me who has small 6.5" wrists? How wide is it? --edited by mod-- It would be a shame to waste it. It's a really nice looking strap.

By to short do you mean just a mm or two or a bunch? You could try stretching it a bit. I've done it before. Get the strap wet and hold it in a vice (jaws padded), then using another clamp, hand a bit of weight from it while it sets overnight.

You may be able to get the little bit of extra room you need,
You can watch something happen, you can make something happen, or you can stand there wondering what the hell just happened.

I have to say it looks really good.
    Great effort!.
I think mistakes come with the craft. I'm trying my first and have already made simple mistakes.
And this is with careful planning and writing everything out.
It comes with the learning a new skill. Looks terrific though. My compliments.

What about a longer clasp? Something like a sinn long deployment?
