Protective wrap stuck inside Seiko bracelet

I bought a new Seiko SRPA21 and the bracelet had some factory protective plastic wrap that I was not able to remove cleanly. Some of the plastic seems to be stuck under the clasp part of the bracelet. Are there any pins on the clasp that I can remove to help remove the rest of the plastic? It looks like I can push pin A or B, but I figured it would be best to check here first before I possibly mess up the bracelet.

Try releasing the dive extension first. It might let you swivel that link just enough to get the plastic off.

Wow i feel like such an idiot... I didn't even realize that was a dive extension. I opened it up and I was able to remove the rest of the plastic easily. Thanks!

Not a problem, I've had it happen too. The first time I opened one of those dive extensions it felt so unnatural with the amount of pressure it took no knowing what to expect, I thought I was doing something wrong.

Glad you got it figured out. The first time I got one and was not expecting it to open more, it did and I thought I broke the band.......
