    Quality Brown Leather Nato

    Hi Fellow Watch Lovers,

Any recommendations on where I could get a really good quality brown leather nato strap? Or a maker of nice straps in general. I am tired of going on ebay and random searches looking for nice straps. It would be nice to have a go-to supplier that I can always go to when I am looking to get a new strap.

I am intrigued by this too! I have been in contact with Gunny straps to get something made but $100 shipped for a NATO seems steep.

They look nice, but expensive. $150 per strap is steep.

Nato international on ebay? Haven't owned one but I've been happy with their nylon natos and the leather bund strap I got was ok...maybe a bit too stiff for others but I preferred it.

At $20 it might be worth a shot if you can throw it on a beater watch in case it doesn't work out.

Note: nato international did try to copyright "Nato" which bothered me to no end...sadly I'm a price chaser and he had the longer lengths I prefer.

I don't have much experience with many companies, but I have one [email protected] nato and I'm extremely happy with it. Very good quality, thin and nice looking, a little bit on vintage side. I'll definitely put another order very soon for a couple of straps from them.

The Bulang & Sons are nice, and have been tempted by many of their straps, but personally I think they're having a laugh with their prices.

Can recommend WatchGecko for excellent quality straps, including leather NATOs, at more sensible prices. (No connection, just a repeat customer).

Thery're straps are a bit pricey. Which exact strap do you have on your tudor though? Its nice.

Crown & Buckle makes really nice ones, unless your looking for something a little more exclusive.

Kangaroo leather is the same thickness as a regular nato strap. It is supple and tough and wears like a regular nato. $45 shipped. They will stain if you get them wet. This one was a natural color before I got it wet and it stained. I put Obenauf's leather oil on it and it turned dark and then within a few weeks faded to a perfect reddish brown where it has stayed for the last 18 months or so.
