Question about Strapcode Shark Mesh strap sizing issue.

    Hey guys,
I recently purchased this from Strapcode and got this in the mail.

    http://www.strapcode.com/store/22mm-stainless-steel-mesh-watch-bracelet-solid-chamfer-diver-clasp-p-3272.html#.VJyKvl4AA

Now I measured my wrist at 6.5 inches (165.1mm) and then use their sizing to fit it to a Mako XL at 44mm

    165.1-44mm = 121.1mm

It looks pretty small when I got the package but waiting on the Mako XL to get here (Xmas backlog in shipping) Wondering if I picked the wrong size but my measurements fit the parameters. It looks really short to me.

I chose the size Length: CC: max.131mm min.116mm

If lug hole to lug hole is 44mm, you'll be fine, won't you? Looks like it'll be 6mm too large, but it appears you can take up that excess at the clasp?

Re: Question about Strapcode Shark Mesh strap sizing issue.

Well my fears were right. The Mesh strap is too tight. I misjudged the Mako XL's lug to lug width by 6mm. I can barely put the watch on with the mesh bracelet, let alone even put the clasp engaged. Wonder how the Strapcode return or exchange policy is (I didnt remove the plastic shrinkwrap from the mesh bracelet yet)?

What is really odd is that I measured my wrist at 7 inches which is 177.8mm, subtract Lug to Lug on Mako XL (50mm) give you 127.8mm with 4mm of play . Still fits too tight. So odd.

Re: Question about Strapcode Shark Mesh strap sizing issue.

I am looking at this at the present moment. if 127mm is my sizing then I need about 10mm according to their site for loose comfort. I didnt see that part of their sizing before in the instructions. That would put me in the 137mm range and this 316 Reform looks like It will give me the opportunity to fine tune my sizing.

21mm or 22mm Ploprof 316 Reform Flexi "SHARK" Mesh Watch Band Dome Deployant Str

or AB sizing in the one below.
