recommend me a vintage-style rubber strap for my Squale?

I currently have my 1521 on the Milanese mesh, but I'd like to put it on a rubber strap "of the era," so to speak. The watch is also available with a Squale-stamped Bonetto Cinturini 285 which is nice, but it doesn't quite perfectly fit the lugs as I've found.

I really wanted the BC 321, but it doesn't appear to come any smaller than 24mm, which is a bummer because ultimately it's a tropic/rally style with a comfortable modern rubber that I'm after. Any recommendations?

I'd look at the Tropic style straps, they're vintage style ties right to the era & Squale.

Agree. Tropic straps look great on this watch.

Is there a "modern" Tropic that you'd recommend? I looked at quite a few tropics on ebay and the like, and while they're super cool, I'd almost prefer a modern rubber compound (a'la Isofrane). More importantly though, are they at all comfortable?

I've also been interested in this "Breitling style" Rally strap that I think Breitling uses on their Heritage Superocean line — think this might look cool? I'm worried it might be a lint-magnet, if there's any silicone in the blend...

Love the Iso (have one!), and I love that shot, but I'm looking for something a tad thinner. Can anyone maybe chime in on the Bonetto Cinturini 302?
