I have had a Seiko Sportura Perpetus 8F56-0120 for many years. A few years ago I bought a Tissot T065430 to replace it but the accuracy of the Tissot was so poor that I went back to using the Seiko.
Last week I was walking down the main street and felt something fall into my had, one of the pins had fallen out of the bracelet. A local shop put it bck in for me but said that the pin was bent and probably worth replacing the bracelet or at least replace all the pins. They made enqquires and found that it was no lnger stocked.
I tried in a bigger town today and was told the same.
Are the bracelets so unique to one model?
I suspect that if I send to Seiko they will just want me to replace the watch which seems a pity considering there is nothing wrong with the actual watch. Any suggestions of anywhere that might be able to fix it?
