Seiko OM bracelet - replacement tubes?

    Hi,

Do any UK-based members know where I can source some replacement tubes for my OM bracelet?

I took it to a watch repair shop to get links removed - I'm not sure that they knew what they were doing as they gave it back to me with the bracelet in pieces!! To add to the pain, they had lost 3 of the small tubes that the pins push into.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

That is going to be tough unless you find a vendor that specializes in Seiko stuff. Did you try to find one using Google as your search engine?

Otherwise, ebay is another source and also check out the sticky at the top of this forum for a list of other on-line strap vendors.

An easier - and cheaper - alternative: Contact an industrial supply company in your area and ask for M1 diameter, 4mm long, 18-8 stainless steel slotted spring pins (sometimes also called 'roll pins') like these. A bag of 100 cost me around $12USD and they fit PERFECTLY.

    Cheers.
