Staib Mesh Bracelet Owners: What size bracelet did you get for your wrist?

    Hi all,

Just purchased a Staib Mesh online. I foolishly assumed the size of the bracelet was equal to wrist size and I have a feeling the bracelet isn't going to fit.

The bracelet (170mm) was purchased for a 46mm watch and 7" wrist.

I believe there's a maximum of 12.5mm play. Really hoping I don't have to send it back to Germany...

That will be far too long, I'm afraid. I have a 7.25'' wrist and use 145-150mm long straps. In my opinion, the best way to find out is to remove a well fitting strap or bracelet from an existing watch and measure it flat on the table.

I thought it was 5mm a link, so you could go down 4x5 = 20mm.

At any rate, i have the 150mm and the same size wrist. The Staib works fine with my larger sized watches. It's a little tight on the smaller ones. I think you should be fine with the 170 if you take out some links.

Here's the link to the bracelet: http://www.bracelets-for-watches.com...mm-2785/a-2477

Doesn't look like there are links but simply adjustments on the clasp.

Gotcha. I have the one with the butterfly deployant.

I agree that it will be too big for a watch with 46mm lug to lug.

Was hoping the -12.5 (157.5mm) would be enough of an adjustment but it was wishful thinking.

    Back to Germany it goes...
