    Strap Replacement Question (Zodiac)

I know this is a long shot, because my watch isn't that popular or well known, but my wife gave me a Zodiac Adventure ZMX01 for my birthday. It is a really nice watch that is kinda a Bell and Ross look-alike. (I'll try to post a pic.) Anyway, I have found an aftermarket replacement black strap that I want to put on it, since I think the white one is a little too, well, white . Anyway, I have searched and searched the Internet to see if there are any instructions on strap replacement. I can't find any. The issue is that there appear to be screws in the outsides of the lugs. I don't know if these are really screws for screw bars or if they are just there for appearance and it has regular spring bars. If anyone knows, please tell me. Since this is a black ion-plated watch, I am really nervous about scratching it if I go about the strap removal in the wrong manner. I hope this is the right forum to ask this question, and thanks in advance!

I assume the strap is rubber. Flip it over, and give the strap a squeeze so you can get a look between the strap and the inside of the lug. Should answer your question pretty quickly.

If it is screw bars, you can put a single layer of tape over the blade of your driver to reduce (but not completely prevent) the possibility of scratching the PVD.

Thanks. I tried it, and it definitely has spring bars. I could even feel them springing when I pulled the band in one direction. I should have tried this before, but I didn't realize how pliable the rubber actually was.

Would an OEM rubber B & R strap work since they are similar in design and notched lug appearance?

Actually, yes, both OEM and aftermarket B&R 24mm straps are a perfect fit. I've found a bunch online, I just wasn't sure how to change the straps out.
