Strap number one looks like the strap that came with my San Martin pilot watch. I won’t put it on any of my watches, let alone on an IWC.

I have one and is decent. It's silicon of course and not rubber. Think of them as an exercise to check if you like the look, and then invest in the oem rubber, if you love it.

    Not the best quality.

Ok as a "get-by" strap, but there are much better options out there, IMHO.

I wouldn't put a chinese (aliexpress) strap on an IWC or an Omega unless the watches came from China too...

    I agree.
That rubber for Omega is not simply chinese. It is a fake Omega strap, tries to look the same as the oem one.

The amount of threads currently discussing Aliexpress straps is kind of alarming.

Please don't put a cheap Chinese strap on a nice watch (or anything else).

Spend a few bucks more and get a quality German made strap. The Rios1931 Blizzard (made from calf leather with white stitching) is very similar to the IWC and can be had for a bit over $30. The Rios1931 Scirocco is the same strap with matching stitching. The Rios1931 Typhoon is the same shape but is buffalo leather and quite roughly textured so I do not like them as much. There is also a gator version that is pretty pricy, $190 or so. The Blizzard is not easy to find, I've had to buy them from Waccex in Germany but they ship for free and they have an eBay store that makes it easy. The main problem is they are often out of stock of the Blizzard.

I love the Rios1931 straps and have 7 or 8 of them. Their shell cordovan straps are superb. I wish more places carried them.

Scirocco - this is a temporary strap for this watch. The watch is new and I have a Rios1931 Seattle shell cordovan strap inbound from Lithuania for it. Like I said, they can be hard to find. At some point when I can get one I will put a mocha or cognac Blizzard on it.
