    Straps for the Current/Upcoming Seasons?

Hello all...looking to rev up my strap making with some time off of work.

Wondering what straps (material, color, etc.) all of you might be or will be wearing for this current or upcoming seasons??

Is there a preference in material, color, etc to certain seasons?

Any advise would be greatfuly appreciated!

I have a couple of "summer" straps that I use. mostly an orange rubber for my Planet Ocean and a leather strap for my Panerai 111 made from an old baseball glove that I used in high school. It doesn't get all that hot in my neck of the woods so I don't care what material my summer straps are as much as others might

both perfect for this time of year!

I hear you. It can get to hot for me at times to wear Rubber where I'm at....unless I'll be in the water of coarse.

Those ones however, I can not make :)

Perlon for the summer months. Leather and natural rubber for the rest of the time.

Go on youtube and learn how to make a Paracord Strap. It's kind of fun to do but they don't always look so cool.

I have seen those videos. Pretty cool.

Working on a bunch of canvas right now from green, brown, and grey all vintage look. I personally prefer it for the summer

That's good stuff. I like the canvas. I'd like to find some new and different material to mess with. Been thinking of Cordura.

Cordura could be a nice summer months strap matrial.... would be interesting to see how a finished product would work out. Though yeah, if there is a time of the year for nato's this would be it. I tend to stick to my rubber though.

Yea.. I wear something everyday with Cordura. In fact, I'm wearing a pair of Kitanica Cargos right now. I love the material. As tough as it is, it's still soft with an original feel. Great with moisture, super strong, but light. Probably gonna have to do something about this.... I'd make Kryptek and Multicam ones too!
