Torn on strap for Blue Mako II - advice?

I've been loving my Mako II so far, but the bracelet just doesn't quite do it for me. I go back and forth between thinking it looks good and mature and thinking it looks stupid on me since I'm on the younger side and not very "business"-looking, and thinking it doesn't quite fit my style. In any case, it's comfortable, but I want to get something to replace it. What I should get is becoming tricky though. I don't like the idea of a two piece leather on a diver, and I generally feel two piece leather straps should be relegated to dress watches or dress style watches anyway. I enjoy the look of a reddish leather NATO with a blue face like the Mako's, but I'm also unsure of leather on a diver again. Perlons are nice on some watches, but in my opinion they fit better with something more playful and casual, like my blue faced Amphibia, whereas for something a little more traditional like the Mako, I don't think it would work. Canvas NATOs I think look a bit too casual, though I could be convinced otherwise - they fit better than leather NATOs for the diver aspect, since swimming with the watch would be a nice option to have even if I don't need it (and likely won't use it given that if I know I'll be swimming I'll just wear my Amphibia).

Sorry for the big ranty block of text there - I guess what I'm asking is does anyone have any suggestions for straps that would go well with a blue Mako? I'd really appreciate any advice - thanks!

How about looking into a nice rubber strap? Or a two-piece NATO?

Are there any rubber straps that can function as slightly dressy (not suit or anything, just look good with business-casual type stuff)? I've seen a few I like but they're all restricted to sportier and more casual

I think the Bonetto Cinturini 300 or 400 with deployant can look the business casual part. Take a look at their catalogue.

Also Hirsch has some rubber straps and some hybrid leather/rubber straps in their "Performance" line.

Also, you may consider kevlar/sailcloth straps

I tried the Bonetto Cinturini 317 on my Ray II but didn't find it comfortable. I swapped it for a Hadley Roma Silicone Strap which I find very comfortable. I think it is about $25 on Amazon.

The Hirsch Performance James is nice looking and comfortable. I do not have the 22mm but here is a 20mm.

+1 for a BC strap. Also might look at the Hirsch Performance and Robby series for another suggestion.

Brown leather works well. Also, dark reddish color like Horween's color 8 works well the blue dial. Straight up red will clash a bit.

Take a look at sailcloth or cordura as a sportier alternative to leather.
