    Tudor Black Bay Bronze NATO

    Hi all,

Does anyone know of where I might be able to pick up a NATO very similar to the NATO on the Black Bay Bronze? I quite fancy paring it up with the Glycine Combat Sub Golden eye. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    M.

For starters, you might look at the sticky at the top of this forum at the list of on line strap vendors to see if anyone carries what you are looking for.

That guy is a bot, I think. The Tudor strap is a one piece made of a special kind of fabric, not a true NATO, is it just the color scheme you're looking for? Natostrapco and cheapestnato tend to have the widest selection but I don't think either of them have one that looks like that.

The "Marine Nationale" parachute straps are pretty similar.

Lol Nokie is not a bot, he is probably just tired of people posting "recommend me a strap" threads without actually looking at the massive armada of strap seller info in the stickies.

As others have stated the Tudor Black Bay strap really isn't a NATO since the springbars are integrated.
The material itself is also very different from other straps. Much more of a canvas/nylon woven hybrid then regular nylon like most natos are made out of.
Probably the best way to describe it is to see the Tudor page on their manufacture:

In terms of feel the closest I've seen is some of the Suigeneric or Morelatto jump straps. but even then they're more textile feeling than the tactical weave of the Tudor straps. Tough to describe, you really have to try them on to get the full experience.

Thanks for messages guys. I totally missed the stickies at the top, so I deserve some abuse there. The bot comment was funny though ;)

I think that the quality/texture are important but the colour is probably paramount here. Ultimately something that looks of good quality and suits a watch like the Glycine (or maybe that new bronze Steinhart diver!) At a much lower price point.
