    U1 on (fake) carbon fiber

    Hi all,

Wanted to share my new-to-me Sinn U1 on an also just received imitation carbon fiber strap with red stitching from www.thewatchprince.com. A nice addition IMHO that adds some extra fun to the watch -- really dig the brushed buckle (couldn't get a good pic). I do have the metal bracelet which I find to be wicked awesome and the silicon strap which I don't care for...save for the divers deployant. Speaking of; Can anyone point me in the direction of a divers deployant that might fit (both physically and aesthetically) with this strap??

    Danka!

you need to know the width of the buckle. there are basically two types of deployment clasps. those that the strap tail goes on the inside (which i prefer) and those that go on the outside. i think the strap you have has at least one loop that is integral (attached) to the buckle end of the strap. so you will need to get one that goes on the outside to use the loop. there are lots on eBay. strapped-for-time is a good seller of quality items. in my opinion, the best deployment clasps are those that come on the rubber bracelets from bandfever. i've got one on a breitling aerospace. the strap type deployment clasp can be quite bulky because of the overlap of the strap tail with the clasp.

    Thanks no_self_control!

Watchprince did offer a diver's deployant, but the only one they had available would not fit this particular strap due to the thickness of the strap itself. I guess they're trying to find other options but are having trouble locating reliable vendors at this time. I'll check out the Bay and strapped-for-time.
