    Upcycled Military equipment Straps

    Hi

We are all aware of the now widely imitated French Navy diver's Marine Nationale straps once made from re-used elastic Parachute braid
and for some years we have seen large heavy leather straps made from old ammo pouches
Today I received a new NATO strap made by Steveostraps (top man, custom turn around in 11 days for bargain $30ish)
made from MK8 Type B Cargo Parachute Flight Release System from 1982
    - 3 layer canvas/rubber/canvas - with bronze hardware - made at 23mm for my Tudor Bronze

Lets see your watch straps made from re-utilised military equipment

    Thanks for the post!

    The Para will be next.

Would like it in another color other than black or green. (Although both are nice)

Yeh, I'd like an airforce Grey & a Royal Navy blue - here's hoping

    Nice strap, Simon.

I bought this canvas strap from a member here that made it. I'm not sure what exact piece of gear it came from.
