    Vintage Seiko 62MAS strap question...

Can anyone identify the strap on the 62MAS diver shown in the center of this photo? I've never seen the watch on one of these before, and would like some additional info if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have seen this before once, but not sure what you call it outside of a "rubber dive strap".

It might be a baffled version, but not totally sure I am using the correct description.

Might look over this sticky to see if you can find it- https://forums.watchuseek.com/f222/l...rs-104583.html

    Good luck.

Thanks! I'll do some browsing...it does seem like a simple, generic dive strap. I was just hoping that it was OEM Seiko so that it could be more easily identified.

I think the 62MAS (and the later 6105-8000) originally came on a tropic with a Seiko branded buckle

I was also wondering what the original 62MAS strap was...tropic, waffle or something different?

That is a cool looking rubber strap. The closest looking strap I can think of is the Bonetto Cinturini 295, but wish it didn't have the holes.

I was thinking of what I'd use as search terms; vintage "vented" dive strap?
