    Watchgecko mesh VS Vollmer/Staib

Hi there. Was hoping to find some information regarding what is better quality. Watch gecko premium mesh (Not the german premium range) and Vollmer. I know Staib are considered the best but are also very expensive.
How does Vollmer compare to Watchgecko chinese offerings? Is it worth the extra for Vollmer mesh?

    Many thanks

Hi, we have been selling Vollmer for a long time, and they are great but also pretty pricy. What we have now compleatly new in our portfolio is German Made Eulit Stalux Mesh Straps, and personally I must say its the best value for money. You further find a 15% voucher in my signature. Cheers, Mick

How are these adjusted? Will this fit a 6" (152mm) wrist?

    Thanks!

That type has a part of the catch that cams over and locks it onto the bracelet. That piece can be slid to any position on the bracelet. The other end has a part that snaps over a crosspin in the catch and snaps down. Finally the keeper on the catch snaps down onto that end piece so it's and infinitely adjustable double lock system.

Thanks, I think I better understand now. It’s kinda like the photo below right? My only concern is that I’ll have too much “tail” on the inside of the bracelet.

I found a Staib short version that’s adjustable from 110-130mm. The shortest I found for Vollmer was 135mm.

If you are a fan of mesh, and want something that is in a finish they offer...in my opinion Staib is the only way to go. (I have not seen one in person, but I think watchgeckos aged silver finished mesh bracelet looks really tempting)

Sure, they are a bit more expensive, but the mesh quality is amazing. It's my opinion a staib bracelet will last longer than you will. The slightly bigger expense is worth it.

One piece of advice I would give you if you're considering a purchase of a mesh bracelet...think carefully before you buy a polished finish. It's easy for them to look cheap if they are polished too much.
