I'd second SS Jubilee, it's a match made in heaven for the fluted bezel case. It's the next best thing next to the WG Jubilee.

I'm with Brad, dark brown, maybe with a hint of burgandy. Probably a simple croc strap with a deployment...or like what's on that Omega. I'd also wear it casually on a smooth, semi-distressed dark brown strap with cream stitching and a tang buckle, to kinda give it a bit of that vintage vibe.
I would go with a light brown crocodile strap.
That will really bring out the color of the white dial!
