    Working on another strap

    Indiana tanned leather, it's around 4-5 mm thick. The edges still need some work, and I'm not sure if I should let this one darken naturally and acquire a patina, dye it dark brown, or vinegaroon dye it to dark charcoal/black:

    Nice. Any of your color considerations would look nice on it, but I like it as it is-natural.

    well, it depends on which Watch you're gonna mount it to.
    if you don't want to Dye it too Dark, you can dab it with Neatsfoot Oil to Darken a little. otherwise it'll take sometime to Patina (if you don't mind the wait).

    I used mink oil rather than Neatsfoot oil, it made it noticeably darker, I'll see how it continues by itself now:

    Looks nice, IMO patina with a distress look would make this look better.
