I just purchased this DateJust and it come with two marks of polishing residue (between 6 to 7 and just left to the 12)
I would like to know if I send it back or if I go to my watche maker to remove it.
Thank you for your replies. The reason why I asked that is more because I live in Ireland and I purchased it online in Italy. The price to send it back will be probably 100 euros, so it may be cheaper to get it removed here in Ireland. but I have no idea of what a watch dealer can ask for it and I would like to have an idea before.
You still think it's better to send it back to Italy ?
Are you sure that’s polishing residue and not something else? Never heard of anyone polishing the flange / rehaut on a Rolex. It’s made of stainless steel, isn’t it?
Thank you for your reply, I try to be active as much as possible but busy september..
Sportura, I will contact the seller.
Blue Notes, I beleive this is polishing residue, I don't think this they polish the inside but probably when they put back the glass..
Thank you Ronsetoe
Thanks
Flo
