Just got this 1970 ref. 1601 as my first rolex, it has a factory new piepan dial along with a complete service. Now I can add rolex to my collection of omega, tissot, vulcain, tag heuer and seiko. Pretty stoked!
Awesome, I'm a big fan of the steel-on-steel DJ. Many congratulations and welcome to Rolex Nation.
When the time is right, check out a period correct Jubilee bracelet. So easy to swap out with the strap on special occasions and really transforms the watch.
I love the pie-pan dials. I wish Rolex would bring them back. They look so great on the datejusts and day-dates.
