Question OK SO WHAT DO I HAVE HERE

Hello Rolex / Tudor People !
Picked this up a couple of months ago in a trade deal threw a new strap on it ,and although its small I think its cool anyway So what is it ? Its keeping great time and I wore it today and posted on the WRUW thread in Public and got me to thinking , I'm guessing a re-dial as it has both Rolex and Tudor on the dial BUT a Google search shows that some Canadian pieces had this in the 40's .. why do a re-dial and not put Mercedes hands on it to complete the mod? The dial is aged ,and a quick check at a jeweler indicates the bezel is 14k....Any ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks !
    Neal

It is a Tudor model #7804 with a replaced dial, replaced crown and relumed hands. This is what it should look like.
Unfortunately, in its current condition its only worth a few hundred. It will cost more than its worth to get it back to its original self so just enjoy it as is.

I think i see an old rivet bracelet in one of the photos, that bracelet is worth more than the watch itself.

It was a popular thing to do in the 80s. At the time, Rolex bubblebacks with the California dial were all the rage and were very hard to find so dealers started looking for alternatives to fill the market gap. These aftermarket dials started flooding the market and a lot of Tudors were "converted" in hopes of riding the coat tails of the bubbleback craze.

The bracelet is just a basic 7205 rivet bracelet. They are all over the bay for around $500-600. Good luck finding an original dial, It would probably be near impossible to find at this point.
If you love the watch then just hang onto it and enjoy it. If, not then you wont get too much for it im afraid.

You should assume the bracelet to be legitimate because no one would knock off a bracelet to support a watch that is so old and undersized.

This watch can either bring you some vintage joy or not; it is of limited collector interest and thus limited financial value. I wouldn't spend another penny on it. I would either wear it as-is on it's black leather strap or bundle it in a trade with a few other pieces towards something more interesting.

That bracelet looks ok but it is missing a link, is over polished, is pretty stretched out and has had repairs done to it. I would look for a better example because it will cost a few hundred to have that one restored.
