OK, so I have two oysterdate. One is 6694 and the other 6494. The 6494 case looks to be in better condition compared to the 6694 which looks like it's seen some polishing. The 6494 looks like it's had a replacement dial (genuine) at some point. The 6494 is the champagne dial and the 6694 is the black dial. Which one do I keep?
With each having a trade in value of $900, unless you really need the money you're not going to find another watch as good as the one you'd be selling.
I’d keep both as well. Play with some strap options- bring them back to life that way. Unless you absolutely have to sell for financial reasons. Then that choice is only one you can make. And if times are really that dire, sell both.
If you could only keep one then the 6494, it could play the part of dress watch a little better and if you had other black dial Rolex sports watches in the collection then the champagne dial would set it apart.
Thanks guys, I do love the champagne dial even though it probably isn't original to the watch. I was thinking about adding a nice brown leather strap and using the bracelet with the 6694 black dial
Both are nice but the white one is my favorite. What a beauty!!!
