800.000 people can't be wrong every year. Can they..?

I look at the chart and my conclusion is 720 thousands people can't be wrong either, can they?

I have a speedy pro saphire sandwich, I love this watch. It's my everyday watch. I wear it everyday, anywhere I go.

I want to buy another watch and currently considering Seamaster 300 MC, Explorer or Explorer II. I look at SubC but find it too flashy for me so I scratch that from my list.

To me it doesn't matter if it's an Omega or Rolex. I will get the one that I like. I lean more toward the Explorer cause it's the least flashy and the most understated.

Pretty much this. A brand is paying me to be loyal to them. Every brand has their strengths and weaknesses. I could be an Omega fanboy and just buy Omegas or I could pick and choose what I like best from each brand.

I love the Explorer and Omega isn't offering me anything close to that. It's a Rolex..so what?

    Re: Opinions on Omega

I am mostly a vintage Omega collector (owning several speedmasters, seamasters and a connie). I always liked the pre 2006 and vintage Rolex models. They are great values for money but unfortunately the prices of vintage and older pre 2006 models have gone unreasonable and people like Hoddinkee and other auction houses have jacked up prices to an unreasonable and unrealistic level. Newer models are of fabulous quality but a little too big on my wrist. Omega was always Rolex main and strongest rival even in the past. So if I haven't another watch on my radar and that my funds are sufficient, I will buy one, otherwise if the prices are continue to rise at the rate they are going , I might be afraid never to be able to afford a Rolex.

    Just my .02¢
Considering it's public perception, it takes quite a secure personality to wear nothing but Rolex, and the "tell" is the main differentiator between Rolex and all the other brands.
    Just my $20.00.

    No, they are slightly different.
Not only does Rolex use 904L steel (Tudor uses 316L), the links are different too:
    .

Both are very comfortable on the wrist,
but the Rolex oyster bracelet has the edge (IMHO).

Yes, a lot of people also like Omega (including myself).
I was merely showing @Dream Killer (who complained about Rolex not following "the bigger watch trend") that a lot of people buy Rolex, even though Rolex doesn't sell watches larger than 45mm.

I owned and loved Omega watches, currently I just happen to own 1 Rolex and 1 Tudor watch.

The only Omega watch on my radar would be a 42mm Planet Ocean 2500D.
However, the new 39.5mm Planet Ocean 8800 is a very nice watch too!

As stated in another post... this is the only Omega I want...

Aside from that don't know much more about Omega except something, something about a moon... maker of numerous 'limited edition' and Bond novelties

Tudor is not the lesser watch, Rolex is an up market Tudor
