No idea what Speedy’s costs are internationally but I paid AUD$4k for mine 5 years ago, brand new from an AD!

Admittedly it was before they changed it to the BS packaging and jacked up the price

The first one of these showed up on TRF yesterday. This will definitely be the hot watch of Basel 2019 IMHO.

Also, someone mentioned this video. Several good shots of dive watches, and the story is supposed to be riveting.

The individually adjustable or jump hour hand is very convenient when traveling. In the Rolex lineup is it only the GMTs that have this complication, or do Subs and DSs have this ability? Does it include even the Exp2, i.e. do they share the same movement. In the Omega lineup the 89xx has the jump hour hand, so itís found on divers and dress watches.

The 16570s have it, which is why my polar is the perfect travel watch. Don't need a $5000 rotating bezel

The story is absolutely riveting, and true. Sat Diver trapped on the sea-bed with 5 minutes of emgy air, rescue is >30 minutes away...

Then a Zelos is a better buy. Probably a better movement and you are not paying a premium for the name
