    At least for me the GMT function is nearly worthless unless it incorporates the jumping hour hand rather than the 2893 mechanism.

    My Tudor Ranger now gone had a stiff winding mechanism like every other 2824 I have ever owned.

    Opinions on Omega

    Finally caught up after making a few worthless posts. Interesting how we can develop dislike for certain aspects of watch collecting.

    One of my personal dislikes is for the 2824 movement. Nothing wrong with it; I just donít like it. One reason is Iíve had either two or three Sinn 556ís sent back for winding issues. I love the simplicity of the Sinn 556 but donít like its 2824. On the other hand the Sinn 856 is powered by smooth winding 2892 movement with several other nice features that make it the ultimate tool watch but at greater expense than the 556.
