Maybe next year Rolex will reintroduce a 36mm Explorer I with an improved bracelet from the 114270. Should a held onto my K series 36mm Explorer I thorough.

I would but I'm saving up for a nice 16710 like the coke you see under the glass. The exp is a downstream "fun to have" watch but damn if it isnt nice. A new 36mm would be awesome, they had a 39mm right next to it and it looked comically large. Do like those lumed numbers though....why does Rolex always leave us wanting?

Iíve seen you post this sentiment a couple times, and I have to be honest Sporty........this is one philosophy of yours that just doesnít compute for me. I just donít ever feel the need to wear an inexpensive beater. If Iím going to the beach, I typically wear my Exp II Polar to avoid sand/grit under a Rolex diver bezel. If Iím going to work in the yard, I either do the same, or no watch at all.

It seems like a trip to the beach would be the perfect time for you to wear some blingy Rolex. I couldnít imagine you being seen wearing some lowly Seiko at the beach by someone that would have otherwise been impressed by a Rolex.

Are you actually a WIS in disguise? Are you actually a closet Omega wearer? What gives? Honest question.

My kids used to say fomo like it was a word and my wife and I would look at each other with a puzzled look. Oh... Fear of Missing out. Can't keep up with the internet generation and abbreviations. Then there's yolo for you only live once, and some others that cannot be repeated online without copping an infraction. LOL.
