Yea, I feel the POs quality is on par with the sub. However, I currently prefer the sub due to the dimensions and style. I really like omegas adjustable clasp, it’s awesome. I also like the sapphire caseback with the beautiful movement. The omega movements are fantastic. Just too thick for my preferences.

I would never swap my 2500 PO for the current series which are way too thick.

Yea too bad the 2500 doesn’t have the ceramic insert and a visible highly decorated 2500. That would be the ultimate. Oh and the new clasp too. Hahaha

    Can you clarify:

On a par with price (including discounts)?

    On a par with reliability?

On a par with longevity of product line?
    • I currently own 6 Rolex watches, from a new Submariner Ceramic to a 1963 Oysterdate Precision.
    • I have continuously owned Rolex watches for over 37 years, starting with a GMT M in 1980.
    • I have owned 12 Omegas, from a 1939 30T2 to a Seamaster 200.
    • I own 2 Seiko Divers, owning one since 1979.

Ceramic insert? LOL. As if that’s some kind of advantage. Why then do all pre ceramic subs have better resale than ceramic?

And what decorated movement are you talking about ? My PO 2500D keeps time at +0.25 seconds.

This seems like an odd way to break up a watch nerd fight. Does it actually work?

I hate to think what that says about all of us if true.
