Friend, I DO NOT have the ultimate Rolex collection, and I realize that.........and I'm ok with it.

BTW, I am not a MOR. The whole persona doesn't suit me in the slightest.

PhD engineers are a huge pain in the ass in my line of work. Research jobs I understand, but at the end of the day we need to get things done. PhDs study everything to death. Time and place. Not applicable for every question or issue.

My MM300 is a very nice beater which is on the cusp of not being a beater. I will happy wear it on those mild beating occasions and vacations.

For me, the true beaters are my Turtle, Sumo and Samurai. If I scar them up, they would have done their jobs admirably. And I would not be embarrassed if people saw me wearing them.

Problem with those super beater watches you illustrate is they all have the same movement as the SKX which means you’re just put better looking clothes on a cadaver. My advice: Sell all of them to fund one MM with the almost GS movement.

I need to have my wife call your wife as well as BT’s.

Agree for the most part. The last one that worked for me was a thermo dynamics guy. Specialized in optimizing the combustion in diesel engines.

Smart as hell but not the most practical guy
