My brother has a PhD and does post-Doc work at a Canadian university. Earns far less than a new grad with BASc at the company I work for.

Anyways, Sporty has already informed me that his collection is better than mine, and his IS the ultimate collection.

Check out Ken on IG (his collection is just SICK)

At some point it becomes over the top, like that dude, i cannot remeber his name, who has like 1000 Rolexes of which several hundred seemed to be subs.

That is not ultimate in my opinion.

That’s right now that you mention it and think he has exactly the same one as J Man.

PhD hard to do and proves ability to research and perform. Many jobs do not require one as you say but in certain ones. Brother probably prefers his job.

Growing up I always heard the "he's book smart but he doesn't have common sense". That was natural defense mechanism for those who weren't book smart often aimed at me.

One of my good friends is a ph.d in some kind of cardiology related field. 15-20 years experience. Smart as a whip. Works for Duke. Makes mid 60’s.

That is minimum what i pay fresh out of school engineers....

Agree again. It can sometimes be a hindrance when people over analyze stuff.
