    Opinions on this Pepsi

    Hi

I'm about to pull the trigger on this pepsi - it's a 2003 and has the right dial, Y serial and laser etched crown. It's stated as unpolished, and I can't see evidence of machine polishing

Does everything else look correct? I'm a bit confused by the amount of fading on the red

Folks lust after these old faded references, yet many say the 2018 126710-BLRO is purple and pink.....

If the watch was “born” a Pepsi, you can get a new Pepsi bezel at even the most restrictive of RSCs (though I’d pop out the faded one first). If not born, still possible but you may have to ask around.

There are no real “deals” on these (or any SS Rolex) as the market is pretty well established. But that examples looks good, I wouldn’t be dissuaded from purchasing at an appropriate price.

Looks good for a 16710. The faded bezel is normal and can make the price become a premium as they are desired typically.

I think it's all correct - for the year, laser etched, open lug holes, correct bracelet, and not polished. I've reserved it and I'm getting a good price on a Tudor Harrods to add into the deal. Assuming it all checks out in person I'm happy.....
