    please help to identify this vintage Chrono

    The dial is 100% ok. The Swiss Made line usually printed below the "tram lines" on the dial wasn't always featured on every watch of that era. The hands and the winding crown are all original too. Its a nice watch, I'm intrigued by the engraving on the back. It looks like initials then MoD? That could stand for " Ministry of Defence". Back in the day serving members of forces or the Foreign Office in the UK could buy watches for their jobs. I'd go on a couple of military watch forums particularly in the UK and see what they have to say.

    I rather suspect this isn't Ministry of Defence for the simple reason that it didn't exist when this watch was made. More to the point, the hands appear to be glowing and relatively healthy which seems unlikely in a watch of this age.
