Hello,
I am new to these forums, and have been the highest bidder on a Rolex Oyster Perpetal on ebay.
I am now concerned that the T SWISS T writing is too big - could this possibly be original or maybe distorted to magnification due to the angle of the crystal??
Thank you very much for your time,
John Pennington.
Can't really tell from the photo, but it has definitely seen some better days. If it is real and a good price, I would send in for a service and get a new bracelet and crystal. Could be worth it, course that fully depends on its authenticity. The T SWISS T is older, Rolex stopped using Tritium in 1998, and if I am not mistaken they were utlizing the Swiss T< 25 on the dial for most of the 1990's.
About $1,000.00 USD, not bad at all. A new bracelet is $550 USD and the service and new crystal will run about the same. The watch will look new for $2,000.00 total.
A fair price I'd say.
Congrats and post that up again please once you get it properly serviced!
