Yup, I have a Chrono too, never use it. In all fairness, I purchased the Speedy not just because it's just a cool, iconic watch but because it looks awesome too. :-!
I like the look as well as some vintage old school vibe or the real deal aka 1970 Pogue. I find uses to time like pizza in the oven sporting events etc.
This thread made me look at the Daytona on my wrist and think "it does more than look cool?"
100% truth. The most useful the chrono function has been was to move the seconds timer hand to 21 seconds to clearly check out the dial text and sub-dials.
I haven't worn a chrono in a long time. I like the look of many, but seeing the chrono center seconds sweep hand constantly pointing at 12 really bugs me. Watching the second hand vibrate along at 28,800 on a 3 hand'er is one of the most enjoyable parts about automatics for me.
