If you have a friendly AD, pop in and ask him for one. I like the Omega service pouches. Theyre like rigid neoprene sunglasses cases with foam inserts for the watch. All brands have a variant and my AD has given me a few over the years. The Omega is the neatest. Certainly worth asking.
You'll find loads of them on the usual watch strap websites.
I'll try to suggest one, you're unlikely to find immediately. Lucrin (unfortunately can't add a link to my post, due to my post count - so you'll have to google "leather watch case & boxes Lucrin"). Swiss leather maker.
They have several models, sizes, types, which you can customize to your liking (color, leather type, initials, etc).
I have one and am more than satisfied with leather quality and craftmanship.
I always store watches in sunglasses cases while traveling, with a little foam to stop them moving around. Solid protection, and won't be such a target for thieves.
That's the one I use, but these are available on Ebay, generic Chinese ones for about half that cost, same quality.
The only downside is they are a bit bulky in an airline carry-on.
Love that Rolex pouch, seems fitting a well for the brand. (and I like that them are slim for air travel).
I bought a nice Barton watch roll on Amazon you might want to check out, really well constructed and $ 40 some dollars. Why pay high prices for "fancy" watch rolls. No, I do not work for zon, just don't like to spend lots of money on utilitarian things. Good luck hunting.
I swear by these by Casebudi. Hard shell ballistic nylon is lightweight but sturdy, they are formed to hold the watch and keep the bracelet from tangling or scratching iteself, and most importantly they aren't much bigger than the watch. When one travels, often one puts his watch in a small space.
I carry one inside my backpack wherever I travel as you never know when you're going to be asked to remove your watch for security, put it in a business class seat cabinet while you sleep, or store it in one of those small hotel room safes. Get the small one as it fits most watches, the medium only if you've got something gigantic.
+1 for the sunglasses case with a sock. And for the “watch pod” which I like better as it works well with bracelets, deployments, and other straps that don’t lay flat so easy.
Those rolls do look convenient. I had a nice one with my Zelos, but sold it with watch. It held a lot securely, in a small space.
