For me, for this next purchase, itís 70 hours or bust. 70 hours is enough for me to put it in the box after work Friday and itíll still be running when I put it on again Monday morning. The old 36-hour norm was never enough for a routine like that.

What I noticed today was all the NYC ADs are out of SS DJ41s.

A local AD near me, however, has a few.

So if looks like the ďroad less traveled ADsĒ may be better equipped to find pieces like these.
    On Wrist:

    Casio - G-Shock GAS100PC-1A
    Rolex - Air-King (116900)
    Rolex - Explorer MkII (
    214270)
    Rolex - Oyster Perpetual 39 (White) (114300)

Iím keen on a new DJ41 and narrowed it down to this one:

The AD and few enablers here then said, have you considered the rhodium? Pictures donít do it justice. The AD agreed and reckons it suits more my age.

Is that pic of the Rhodium on your wrist? If it is, then that's your watch mate. I think the blue is a little too bright for daily office wear.

Jeez, this is for a simple DJ, not a SS Sports model!
It's truly getting weird out there...
DavidSW has a new, unworn DJ 41 (with Box, Tag, Papers & Book) exactly like you described for $7475.00. That's only a $125.00 over the Rolex AD price. -Z-

It is getting wild out there. My city recently banned people from saying, "Rolex".

Wait...I don't think I can even type it.

What's your view towards fluted? I tried a DJ41 white dial with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet and I was sold. I didn't used to like the fluted but I am converted now after seeing one so sublime.

I don't fancy the dome bezel on a DJ because it doesn't differentiate enough from the OP39. From afar, they look similar with the dome bezel and worse if you get the Oyster bracelet. Indeed, my wife now kind of regretted insisting on the dome bezel for her DJ.

Personally I think the jubilee with a fluted bezel (which is white gold making it more expensive) is too busy and glitzy for my taste. If I didnít have a PCL oyster on my GMT Iíd get this combination which to me looks clean, more sporty (pardon the pun) and absolutely timeless.
